Best way to tighten the Bowtie on a 69

My emblem is loose and when I look to see how to tighten it up there is just one small access hole that wont even fit a socket.

So the question is, how do you tighten this up? The next and more important question is how do you tighten the other side as there is no access?

If you are talking about the hood emblem, you should be able to get a 1/4" drive, deep well socket on both studs. (3/8ths i believe)

Yes I I do remember having to use a swivel on one because the angle would not let the socket sit right.

I've found it easier to take the hood latch plate off the good to get to the one you can't see

I was using a 1/4 drive and tried shallow and deep. Maybe need an extension to make some clearance where the ratchet head would go.

And yes, the other stud has no clearance hole so removing the hood latch plate may be the only option.
