steady bearing rubber mount squeak

This is driving me nuts. Anyone have a tip on installing the steady bearing? I've replaced all my universal joints and the steady bearing(inline style). I've a squeak emulating from the rubber mount around the steady bearing. Tried adjusting the mount(back and forth) but cannot get it to disappear. Disassembled the driveshaft and reformed the dust shields(thinking the rubber may have been rubbing) and reassembled and no change. Even tried lubricating the rubber with bearing grease. Has anyone else had to deal with something like this?

I had the same thing when my shaft was a wee bit bent and out of balance. Any good driveline shop can tweek it back straight and balance it.
