sound deadening

Guys I'm working on my 86 ccd that we are swapping the cummins into. I have gotten on layer of the dyna mat onto theinside of the firewall. Would it be worth the time and funds to make another layer on it? What about the floor covering? thanks

Re: sound deadening

the ccd = crewcab dually, the dynamatt was the extreme. I had given thought to the spray on bed liner idea until I read the instruction with the dynamatt. I may just go on and put another layer on. thanks

Re: sound deadening

I've recently discovered that most of the cab noise comes from the transmission hump, at least in my case. (85 GMC)
