Don'yt know how you folks do this over a long period of time and remember where all this stuff goes.

Anyways, I am going in the opposite direction now...together...whoopeee. but I ran into a snag. I got a kit for cab and rad mounts and I am not sure what goes where now. They don't look like any of my books, including LMC catalog..., nor do they look like what was or is on the truck now.

I thought that front and rear mounts were different, but I have four of one kind and 2 of another.

Do I have them matched up correctly?

If not does anyone know which way they should be.

Thanks guys. I did the rad supports today and was hoping I wouldn't have to undo/redo them. Gonna try and do the cab mounts in a couple weeks..after Pigeon Forge.

Yep you got it right. I just went through the same ordeal. A word to the guys just getting started.take alot of pics. you will need them

whats involved in replacing the cab mounts ..... ....jacking up the cab and sliding them in or whats .......just curious ..

thanks ..... any tips or suggestions would be sweet

Take them all loose and jack up one side of the cab at a time. you will have enough clearance to get them in. Some of these trucks had the front bolts welded in the floorboard. That might make it a little more difficult to change them, but it should still be possible.
