Primered C10 sitting on the ground - I'm sure it does!

Great looking truck. That dash is a big step above and just makes that truck. Completely awesome!

Re: My dream build '68' swb

Thanks for the support! I have been thinking of tearing the trailer fenders out up front and running them open like Mitch Henderson did on his sexual chocolate truck?? Whats you guys opinion?

Re: My dream build '68' swb

I really like the look of them when you cut them at the top of radius and run it flat to the firewall but I dont have the tools to bend the metal on the edge to match the trailer fender!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

I would check with nate at Porterbuilt fabrication, I know they offer a couple different versions of tubular a arms. That and their drop member solves that problem if you have the $$$ a little pricey but beautiful stuff, you probabaly dont want the whole dropmember since you already Z'd it though. I need some PB!

For the inner fenders, have you looked at 67chebys "sloshtubz" ? click the red link in his sig. very nice inner fenders for layed out C10s.

The truck looks sweet (now that I see the pics) what size steel stock did you use for the back half? Im considering doing something similar.

Later and keep the progress and pics coming! thats a sweet project.

Re: My dream build '68' swb

SCOTI....The trailer fenders are a great idea!! And C10Rustbucket i used 2x4 box don't recall the wall thickness! some guys use 2x3 but i wouldn't recommend it.... I have dreamed about these C10 trucks since i was a young lad, Some day when mine is finished i hope to take a break from my career and build them for Other people not as fortunate to have the resources and know how... Thank you All for the motivation..

I'm pretty sure he still has the truck. The last few months have been up and down for him. Has new son and lost his dad this earlier this year. I' m sure he is planning some more killer work for this thing.
