OUCH!!! That will NOT buff out i am afraid!
Welcome aboard, shouldn't be too hard to find a clean replacement around your area. Try the trucks for sale here or craiglist. Good luck.

Re: A good Truck

Is it beyond repair? Tom Korinek ("t korinek" on this forum) is in Mesa and has many parts for these trucks. He usually has some listed in the parts for sale section, but he has many more. Fenders, hoods, core supports, etc.

I'd hate to see you give up all that family history with your truck.

Judging by the picture if the door won't close I'd say there's some pretty good frame damage.

That's true.

I just bought the front suspension off a 72 C20 Tom is parting out. I think he may still have the frame, and it looked really nice. No axle or front suspension. I guess it all depends on how much work a person wants to do to preserve a a family "heirloom".

Re: A good Truck

Are you wanting another C20 or a C10 ? If you are interested I can give you a lead on this real nice original 70 Longhorn that is in Nevada.

Re: A good Truck

I've been corresponding with this new board member Nick helping him find a truck to replace the truck in the first post on this thread. Anyway Nick found this truck and I suggested he could ask if there were any board members close by that would/could check out the truck in attachment for him. If someone can do this for Nick please PM him for hios email and phone number.

Re: A good Truck

Well I was going to look at one truck i had a line on and found this one in the yard with a "For Sale" sigh. Not a bad find for 800.00. 1969 C-20 A/C cab every thing works, A/C need new comp, no rust issues, and I have most any thing as far as body parts to replace.

Re: A good Truck

I t's bad enough that the accident happened at all, but after being in the family 42 yrs...that's very upsetting.
Good luck with your search mate, and welcome to the board.
