Re: smoothing out ram horns 67 C10

I bought a Dewalt grinder and some wheels and dove in. I was expecting it to be difficult, homwever after a few minutes it was very simple. Start slowly and try not to remove too much at first. You will get the hang of it real fast. Wear eye protection and at least a paper mask, it's a dirty job. I bought some ceramic exhaust coating. Spray on 2 coats, bake in the oven on the highest seting for 20 minutes, Remove from oven and let them cool. About 20 minutes later bake again at 350, remove and let cool. Bake again at 200 for 30 minutes. I found it's best to use the oven while your wife is in Nebraska visiting her sister. Don't forget to open the windows and run a fan, the paint smell is brutal. Good luck.
