Look over the doors a little better and let me no how good they are if you wouldn't mind. If they are real good I will take them.

Re: '86 K35 parting out

The rear steel wheels for sure. The doors are kind of hard to tell in the pictures. They are GM doors and not aftermarket? There are no seam swelling/rusting. If not I will take them.

I'll get the rears pulled this week and stripped, ready for next weekend if you want them that fast. Otherwise I'll trust you that you'll take them, they can sit here till you want to go for a drive.

Doors I doubt are GM, I can never keep straight the difference in the front door seam between GM and aftermarket. I THINK the OEM doors had a flat seam, and aftermarket had a pinched seam. That's why I tried to show you the front door seam. Either way, I don't see any swell, just some light rust around the drain holes.

Thanks!

You know how many times I've said the same thing on something in Alabama or Texas?

Re: '86 K35 parting out

I think I will be going for a drive up there in 2 weeks april 7th or 8th which is a Saturday or a Sunday. I will take the wheels then if thats okay with you. I will pass on the doors thou since they are not OEM doors. Are you going to be cutting that cab up, is it scrap. If so I am still looking for a patch panel cutout around the rear of the cab by the rear window. Basically where the rear cab trim would go.

Re: '86 K35 parting out

Bump for axles. Both diffs are 4.56 open carrier. Gears appear to be in great shape, no rust, low mileage, oil is nice and clean.
