Truck rally ideas

I just picked up some 6 lug 15x8 truck rallys and would like info on my options to create the "cop car" wheel look....black with center cap. I just need to see what others have done and what is needed to create the look. Low cost would also be great! Cheapest I can think of would be no cap w/ chrome lugs to the flatter/newer style cap that requires special lugs with caps. Pics will help greatly. Thanks...

Re: Truck rally ideas

Well I dont have any pics but my first patrol unit was a 95 caprice and it had beauty rings and chrome center caps with black rally wheels. Im pretty sure that would be an easy look to pull off...

Re: Truck rally ideas

just the plain chrome center caps is what they sell as "police" caps similar to babymoons but with a couple of cirrcles embossed in them

Re: Truck rally ideas

Harpie, that is the look Im going for. Seems like I've seen a Suburban or Tahoe 6 lug cap somewhere but wasnt sure if it would fit. I wanted this look cuz black cop wheels with a hugger orange paint job would look pretty good.

If anyone comes across pics...let me know.

Re: Truck rally ideas

You'll have to go with a bolt on center cap.The Rallies don't have a provision for a baby moon or any other snap on cap.

Re: Truck rally ideas

I have Wheel Vintique Vette-style rallye wheels (15x8; 15x10), with hot rod trim rings and the Police caps. Ran the caps on the same style wheels on my '96, but in a 16x7 and with the hot rod trim rings. That's what you see in my avatar.
