Mallory HEI: Radio Interference capacitor?
Hi Guys,
I just got my vintage air kit and I was reading the instructions and there is a warning about having a Radio Interference Capacitor on the ignition. Does my ignition have one on the positive terminal of the ignition coil, built in? Do I need to get a capacitor? The ignition is a Mallory HEI and it's on my 1967 C10 with a painless wiring system installed. Thanks for any help. |

Re: Mallory HEI: Radio Interference capacitor?
None built in and you probably wont need one but if you have problems with the ECM you can always add one to the B+ terminal on the HEI distributor.

Re: Mallory HEI: Radio Interference capacitor?
Thanks so much for the reply! I'll probably try to wire one up just to be safe.
