VOTE for Suburban Calendar choices

If you (or another member) submitted multiple photos, I narrowed it to one. Probably the one that I thought would look unique on a calendar. I don't wanna hear "You picked the wrong one"; this is just the way it worked out.

If you nominated someone, PLEASE send them a PM, so they will be following along.

IMPORTANT: Regarding the voting... vote for AS MANY as you like. (I think that's how I set it up) vote for your favorites, but please dont vote for all- that will kinda defeat the purpose. But, you don't JUST have to vote for "the ONE" truck you want to win. There will be 12 trucks on the calendar, so we dont need one truck getting the most votes. It will be based on the twelve trucks that get the most votes. If there is a tie for 12th, I may add a month or two.

NOW... here is the part I feel bad about. There will only be 12 months on this calendar. (period) These are a lot of work. SO, if you don't make the 12 truck cut, it's no big deal. I will do another one next year. Just start thinking about a few cool camera angles to capture a good view of your truck. The truth is, I will need those trucks next year, otherwise it will be a boring "repeat" calendar. Just stay active on the forum. So, I will say now... if you make the top 12 this year, you will be ineligible next year.

ALSO IMPORTANT: The poll ends on 04/15/12. I will post the winners PLUS two alternates on this thread. It is your responsibility to get me YOUR info in a timely manner. (4/18/12 at the latest)

Here is what I need from you:

Name (also if you want your first AND last name listed or just your first)
City, State
Suburban stats: year, make, model, package
AND... I need the original photo emailed to me in an attachment. I cannot copy and paste or save the one from the board, because the resolution has been lowered.

If I do not receive the necessary info by 04/18/12, I will use one of the alternates. I know I seem hardcore, but these are a LOT of work. I can't be taking the time to chase down your info. Therefore, it is your responsibility to follow the thread after 4/15 to see if you made the cut AND follow up with your info.

I need the truck info AND the original high-resolution photos emailed to me at j.goddard@mdtesting.com If you feel your truck is doing well in the poll, and you are fairly confident you will make the cut, you can send the info immediately.

If anyone wants to see all of the photos, they can view the nomination thread at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=513403&page=2

I am not making guesses on the year of your Suburban either if you didn't post it. We all know that quite a few of our trucks have newer/older clips and even brand's. You can add it below if you wish.

So... good luck and enjoy the voting!

Entry #1: ChevyBrazil and his green '67 Veraneio (Brazilian Suburban) -although he has not followed up to acknowledge his nomination.

Entry #2: gcburdic and his green '71 Custom Deluxe C20 Suburban

Entry #3: vectorit and his turquoise'68 K20 Suburban 4x4

Entry #4: Flint70Step and his '70 Custom Deluxe blue Suburban

Entry #5: '69 Blue Hornet and his blue Suburban (year?)

Entry #6: rsavage and his green 70 C10 Suburban

Entry #7: bntmotorcycles and his blue Suburban (year?)

Entry #8: mosesburb's 4x4 orange Suburban (year?)

Entry #9: Azdon's white '68 (?) Suburban

Entry #10: xman's red Suburban (year?)

Entry #11: hdman6465's 1972 C10 silver/white Suburban

Entry #12: PortHeadlight's 1970 C20 white Suburban

Entry #13: 72ArizonaBurb's blue '72 Suburban

Entry #14: Dougo's '72 GMC K2500 green Suburban 4x4

Entry #15: mt man chads tan Suburban (year?)

Entry #16: duceducenine's light green Suburban (year?)

Entry #17: jbclassix' '70 GMC Copper 4x4 Suburban

Entry #18: Robb67's '68 red Chevrolet Panel

Entry #19: 67carry-all's '67 blue Suburban

Entry #20: bruin_d's brown GMC Suburban (year?)

Entry #5 is my Suburban. It is a '69 with a '71 grille & bumper. There isn't a member with the board name of '69 Blue Hornet, that is what I named the Burb...

Re: VOTE for Suburban Calendar choices

Poll is over. If you received 13 votes or MORE, please email me your info.

Here is what I need from you:
Name (also if you want your first AND last name listed or just your first)
City, State
Blazer stats: year, make, model, package (CST, K5)
AND... I need the original photo emailed to me in an attachment. I cannot copy and paste or save the one from the board, because the resolution has been lowered.

I need the truck info AND the original high-resolution photos emailed to me at j.goddard@mdtesting.com. Do not PM me this info.

We have 5 guys tied for the final spots with 13 votes. SO, I will not chase you down. Once I receive info from 12 participants, the calendar will go to print. If you have already emailed the info, I appreciate it.

Re: VOTE for Suburban Calendar choices

AND.... (drumroll please...)

The standard edition AND premium editions of the calendar are ready for purchase! Look it over close, if you see any mistakes, let me know. It is not too late to fix things.

Link to standard calendar:
http://www.lulu.com/content/legacy-l...anels/12809876

Link to premium calendar:
http://www.lulu.com/content/legacy-l...anels/12825362

The calendars are available in it's standard form (11"x17") for $16.19 In an effort to keep costs down for you, the smaller calendars are not available in the glossy finish, but they are in a matte finish.

Or... you can purchase the premium edition which is larger (13.5"x19") and the photos are a heavier glossy paper. It will be $27.00.

ALSO ... A member from the 60-66 thread found a discount code: APRPHOTOS12
He said it worked for another 25% off his order, so assuming the code is still good, I would jump on it before it expires.

Sorry for the delay, I was in West Virginia until today playing with my "newly" acquired Blazer.

Thanks to all!!!

That is SOOOOO nice!!!

Re: VOTE for Suburban Calendar choices

Back to page one for this thread...
Thanks JeffG for taking the initiative of making a suburban calendar a reality! I'll be ordering one soon...
Is this a 2012 or 2013 calendar?
I also gotta say that I understand the "popular vote" format of picking twelve and fully expected that my burb wouldnt be among the twelve, (but do thank the ten folks that voted for me)
For me, personally, I prefer lowered stuff and consider off-road stuff to be utilitarian and dirty and generally outside of the normal realm of photogenic vehicles (though beautiful in their own rugged way)
I'd be WAAYY more eager to buy a calendar featuring twelve lowered burbs, even covering a much broader range of model years, and I'll bet that the off-road guys would say the same about an off-road burb calendar.
Next year TWO calendars? (just a thought)
