1978 C-10 build. (Blue Demon)

Bought this 78 in 2005 for $300 and drove it home. I have 3 years, 4500 hours and a **** load of money in it. When i was working on it all I had was a grinder and a welder. Now I own a plasma CNC and operate a small business called Street Steel (streetsteel.net) Making custom brackets and metal for people in need. I wish I had it when I was working on this build thats for sure.

Drove it for one year in primer just to make sure everything worked before paint.

I sprayed the color and the clear. A good friend of mine did the graphics.

That's incredible! Well done, there are so many things on that truck that I would normally disapprove of, but that turned out to be a perfect combination. It all looks killer.

Re: 1978 C-10 build. (Blue Demon)

Here the headliner and my old s-10. Nobody really notices the headliner thats why i did it. I sold my s-10 in 2007 to make room for my 1963 burb that i have now as a family ride.

Thanks!

Re: 1978 C-10 build. (Blue Demon)

thanks man, i've got a 4dr tahoe that is body dropped and with 2600s on the axle i don't get enough lift. i was thinking a similar setup would get the lift and keep whats left of the floor.

Try getting 2800 bags. I'm running those in the back. They get about 2-3 inches more lift than 2600. Might be a cheaper fix. By the way that's a badass Tahoe . If you do decide to go cantilever, I can Cnc cut you some arms if your interested.
