installing carpet kit, need advice and supply list

ok, I get my molded carpet kit tomorrow and want to get it installed very soon. I know I have heard of members using the heat or sound barrier that they get at lowes or home depot? can you guys tell me which stuff to get for a sound and heat barrier and what do I need to hold the carpet down. Other than that ANY SUGGESTIONS OR TIP WILL BE SO WELCOME

I used this on my 70. Great stuff at competitive prices. I hope this helps.
