Re: how did you route your exhaust?

Got a flowtech exhaust kit for my truck and ran it as intended till the mufflers. Right after the mufflers I put the tail pipes on, it dumps right before the axles, instead of over and behind the axles.

Re: how did you route your exhaust?

I run dual 3" on my pickup. It's all custom bent but it's running as an original would, around the rear spare tire (which is a full size 9.5x16.5) and exit out the sides behind the rear leaf spring hangers.

It's tight but it can be done if you find a competent shop.

Re: how did you route your exhaust?

2.5" will be plenty if you're putting it on your vortec headed 350....and cheaper. 3" is easy to do, i had full 3" on a 79swb c10, straight out the back. it was way overkill for what the little 355 needed. rattled the cab pretty good, even with the h-pipe. take it too a good shop, someone who has been bending pipe for years can generally do anything you want them to.
