Re: DM Mild/Stage 2 Rear Coil Over Pics

Is the "Touring Dropmember" higher or lower than this "Mild Dropmember" version.

The "Touring Version" is one inch lower on the crossmember.

This set-up is running a 26.3" tall tire and a 2.5" drop spindle.

OK, stupid question time.

Is that wicked center crossmember section part of the stage 2 rear? That looks buff.

Thats awesome! Just curious though if one used this set up with shockwaves how would the height aired out be compared to say a standard stage 2 front and rear PB components? Could this setup be used with shockwaves? lol

Re: DM Mild/Stage 2 Rear Coil Over Pics

Thanks Keith, I'm going to have to do some research on N2Billet's ride. I thought he had the std. dropmember with bags and a step notch.

Re: DM Mild/Stage 2 Rear Coil Over Pics

Two questions. Is the bar under the diff needed if the stage 2 kit is welded to the axle? And how hard would it be to adapt a stage 2 kit to a 73 Jimmy that already has a c-notch?

That chassis shown in a touring drop member. The appx. measurements of the the coil over set up is:

(Frame is appx. 7.5" from ground with 28" tall tire with coil-over mild dropmember & 2.5" drop spindle)
(Appx. 4" Drop from Stock)

(Frame is appx. 6.5" from ground with 28" tall tire with coil-over touring dropmember & 2.5" drop spindle)
(Appx. 5" Drop from Stock)

(Frame is appx. 5.5" from ground with 28" tall tire with coil-over extreme dropmember & 2.5" drop spindle)
(Appx. 6" Drop from Stock)

There is some adjustability with the coil overs. For example, you will see about 7"-8" from ground to the frame, on the mild drop member with coil over setup. That is why I put 7.5" to be in the middle ground.

Hope this info helps.

Thank you. I guessing then when you add bags to the equasion you get the frame to lay?
