Worlds shortest shortbed on OKC CL , not mine!

Found this while cruising CL last night. Shortest bed I have ever seen.

I saw that too. It actually looks pretty symmetric and would make a good crawler with the short wheel base. I'm not sure about the stacks though.

Re: Worlds shortest shortbed on OKC CL , not mine!

The city garage here in Chesapeake has one that I think may be shorter but......its a FORD so dosent really count. They use it to tow stuff (other Fords) around the yard because of its turning radius can get it in and out of tight spots.

Cool Re: Worlds shortest shortbed on OKC CL , not mine!

Factory AC to... not a bad little ride I bet! $3500 is not a bad price either.
Keep the stacks and put some spark plugs in them!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Worlds shortest shortbed on OKC CL , not mine!

It is definetely unique. It looked shorter than a blazer to me originally but I think it is an illusion after staring at pictures of "trazers". I think because there is actually a bed, not a tub the seperation of cab and bed makes it look "stubby" as someone else said. Kind of cool but not my style. Obviously the chimneys have to go! The engine does look pretty slick in the ad and it appears to be rust free.

Mike, I did not know about that CL thread. I will start using that one. Yes very interesting, just a little too short for me. I almost want to go look at it just to look at it.

Re: Worlds shortest shortbed on OKC CL , not mine!

This is the only picture I have of the one that I built. It wasn't much, but it was fun.

It was only like about 4" from the back of the cab to the start of the fenders.

I wonder how bad the ride would be in one - seems like it would be pitching up and down all the time.

Probably wouldn't be any different than a Blazer.
