WTB 2 Groove Short Water Pump Pulley

I am looking for a 2 groove water pump pulley for a short water pump. The truck is a '68 with a 307. (Apparently there is a difference between 67-68 and 69-72)

Please quote shipped to 70065.

Thanks,
-Stephen

Re: WTB 2 Groove Short Water Pump Pulley

I have a pulley from a 71cheyenne.I think the 68 is just a little bigger around.I've used it the other way around 71 with 68 pulley and belts size is all that was different.
Second in line behind CST 204.
Thanks Brian

Re: WTB 2 Groove Short Water Pump Pulley

I believe the part number is 3854031.

Everything I look up shows a different part number for 69 and newer. I have a couple I yanked off some sbc's at the junkyard that were 73 and newer and they do not fit. The area that goes over the water pump is smaller than the '68, so it will not sit flush with the mounting area on the water pump (where the four bolts are). A couple of the Jegs pulleys list the year range as 69 - 85, so I assume that would be the problem with anything 69 or newer.

It sounds like you know more than I do, which honestly isn't saying much, I know just enough to mess things up.

Shoot me a price shipped to 70065.

What other country can you buy a pulley for a '68 Chevy doing 75 mph while running away from Mardi Gras? I freakin' love this country!!!
