Porterbuilt Project Lumberjacked

Well a little backstory on the truck it was bought new in Roseville, CA. The truck was purchased by the Deer Creek Lumber Company in Rocklin CA to haul lumber and thats how i came up with the name.

I acquired the truck after buying my 67 and realizing that it would take a little longer to complete than i wanted. Feeling really discourage i was talking to my buddy Eric aka Superflysteiny we talk about building this 70 GMC together using my chassis and his truck. Well after finding a really sweet 55 he wanted to buy for his dad i purchased the GMC in Jan 2013. A plan was hashed on what we wanted the truck to look like and the budget and parts needed to get it done. I started by calling Travis @ Pro Performance to order the parts to get the chassis completely finished and rolling. Then we decided we would build the truck in a long weekend and so it began....

I didn't realize you lived in San Diego. When I saw the truck in Eric's thread I assumed you lived somewhere in Sacramento area too. Heck, what's 500 miles? So Keith, this is definitely doable.

Love the truck. It's cool that you will be driving that before Summer arrives too.
