They'll fit, I just put BFG Radial T/A's on my truck 275/60/15 all the way around on 15X8 with no problems. They look good and ride way better than the old 235/75's that were on there.

They should fit fine...though IMO the Radial T/A is a pretty crappy tire...

Have to disagree there- Radial T/A's are awesome. And contrary to what I have heard, they are fine in the rain too. I have yet to even break them loose in wet weather unlike the former tires where I had to creep around so I wouldn't spin them (especially around corners, those things were downright scary).

running 33's by 12.5 on my 2wd! They were on the rims when I bought them, and I can't afford to replace them just yet. They do look pretty good on there! Kinda wish it was a 4x!:p

I have them also with 15x8's all the way around. I have had no problems with them for 20 thousand miles. Does anyone know how low you can drop a truck with this set up without rubbing?

Buying a set of Yokohama Avid S/Ts and FINALLY having a truck that didn't want to get sideways or have trouble going over 70mph in the rain, that's what! Not to mention that the Yokohamas hook harder at the track than the T/A's ever did...

It's not that the Radial T/A is really a bad tire...but it's a very old design, and there's a lot of tires on the market that are just flat-out better. Take a look at this chart and notice that the Radial T/A's are very solidly mid-pack...

Project1970 -My $.02 from looking at the chart I would say Firestone/Bridgestone sponsered the test. I have never seen a tire test where That many Firestones and Bridgestones were rated that high. We all got our experiences.

I'm a fan of Cooper and Mastercraft myself...Have never liked the Radial T/As nor anything by Firestone. I know the media may say otherwise...but Firestones desentigrate in the southeast...doesn't seem to matter what model either.

OK my rambling is over....On with the next $.02.

It's not a test, let alone a sponsored one - that's the result of people sending in their opinions.

And FWIW, I've had nothing but good experiences with Bridgestones - never touched a firestone. The Potenza RE71's for the Z28 were awesome (only got one set though, IIRC they were on closeout and normal price is too much...it has Kumho 712's now) and the RE930i's on my girlfriend's Opel seem like great little tires as well.

The only -bad- experience I've had with tires is with anything made by "Nankang". My mom had a set on her Suburban; all four had MAJOR issues, like belts popping and being out-of-round in general. My girlfriend's 280ZX came with a pair of 'fresh' ones that the PO had just gotten from Big O Tires a few thousand miles previously, and both had popped belts as well. Big O didn't want to stand behind them.

Six tires, six popped belts. Nankang tires frighten me.

(Hey, new smilies! )
