Ho52 axle

I have a 72 3/4 ton full float HO52 axle for free. local pickup maryland and she's yours. It's in great shape and has 4.09 gears. I also have a 350 small block 4 bolt main that has been rebuilt and is in good shape with performer aluminum intake, rochester 4 barrel carb and new elec choke. $250.00.

Does the ho52 have a locker or posi? If it does I'm interested.

Have not opened it up but shafts spin in opposite directions.
I will look back at build sheet. And verify

Build sheet lists it as no spin rear axle. So I'm pretty sure it's

I'm interested in the Rear Axle and live by Gettysburg, PA so I could pick up tomorrow or Saturday.

Would that work?

Re: Ho52 axle

The axle will likely be picked up today. The motor is still available and engine code pictured above. Or, it's listed as 3970010 350 69-79 Truck 2&4 bolt main. This block
is a 4 bolt main and ran very strong when truck was on the road. I also have an HEI distributor new in box somewhere that I'll take $250.00 for as well if anyone needs it.

Let me know.

Re: Ho52 axle

The engine code is stamped on a pad on the block that extended past the head mounting surface. That embossed number is the casting number. All that lets me know is it's a 350. The engine code will have letters for a prefix and that number lets me know what the engine came out of and other specific info. I would have bought the engine no matter what the code if I had caught the rear, too. Still interested in the 350 if the numbers are what I'm after. Thanks for checking.

Re: Ho52 axle

Thanks for the info,Chris. That's a truck 350 from either a '72 K/20 with manual trans or '73 C/20-30. I have questions on the rebuild and I think we should talk on the phone. I'm sending a PM now.
