I have these covers in the pic. I really like then, but they really piss oil.

They really don't have any baffles in them, just some sheet metal that I'm using to "subsitute" for them but it doesn't work. Does anyone have a et of baffles that fit these, or have a set of covers that they might be willing to part with that have the baffles? Or any other ideas?!? Please, I'm getting ready to use stock covers on my new engine!

Do you get the jegs catalog? I think they have some baffles that you can bold (???) in there.

What do you mean by "piss" oil? Do they leak? The biggest problem I have had with valve covers with no baffle is the PVC valve...it will drink a ton of oil if used without a baffle. The way I have aways solved the problem is to use a "mopar" styled push in breather and put the PVC valve inline with the hose fitting that comes off the side. It worked for me.

What I mean by piss oil, is that after awhile the tops of the covers are soaked in oil.

Use the factory covers with new gaskets and a pinch of blue sauce and your done!
In most cases the oem parts are always better!!

OEM valve covers are normally better than the chrome ones, but no way are they better than alluminum. The bottom rail...the mounting surface on an aluminum one will never get bent or twisted. True, if you are carefull the stock ones won't get damaged either, but the reality is plenty of them are already there, and many of us have done it ourselves.

I'm about to pull my stock covers off and glue the heck out them! I think they may be a little...off. I think "somebody" over tightenend them last time.

Score!!! I found the orginal valve covers from my old 72 burb!!!

They are almost perfect!! Gonna clean them, and paint!
