I would absolutely buy that for $200. I don't think it would be worth fixing though. If it has front tow hooks and skid plates still on it, that alone more than covers the cost to buy.

OMG I almost vomited.

If you save that, I will send you a case of beer of your choice, because you deserve it.

It's pretty sweet. I've got a lot of time behind a laptop screen with EFILive running....and tuning with the MS is a lot easier....and the functionality of the MS3x is incredible. The MS controlls the water injection, boost control, 2 step, auto VE tuning, etc.

Also, for $200...if you're looking for something to keep you busy, you could make a decent amount of $ by parting it out...worst case. I see a lot of good parts on that truck. Just as long as it doesn't go to the crusher.

Re: Am I worth saving ??? 1972 blazer

I'd buy it for 200. But either get it roadworthy if not too rotted and just drive as a beater or use it for parts. I've restored many east coast cars and never again. Having a solid rust free western truck is well worth the investment. You could easily dump thousands upon thousands extra on something that far gone just to get it to the place where western us blazers are. IMO using it for parts rather than crushing is great.

Man those tires are sunk deep in the ground. Wild. I agree you could recover your $200. Will be a bit of work to get it on a trailer I bet.

Re: Am I worth saving ??? 1972 blazer

Front tow hooks(extreme bend) and skid plates(gas and Xfer case) should fetch you about $500; Good profit.
Can you take a cleaner shot of the SPID,
Thanks,
Tbruz

For me, that one needs to die. Too far gone for me, but I've seen people restore (and succeed) with worse/same.

If you can get it, and part it out I am in need of a complete seat belt assy in parchment. Also if it is a single wall top the wiring harness for the dome lights.

Re: Am I worth saving ??? 1972 blazer

For $200 I'd buy that on the spot, if you think the body/frame is beyond repair you can still make a profit selling the parts. I bought my '70 K20 Suburban for $200, it was just missing the steering column and radiator. A couple hundred dollars and a little work got it running and driving again. The body has a little rust that's fixable, it was well worth saving from the crusher.
