1970 Factory front tow hooks

How much would a set of 1970 factory front tow hooks be? is 350 a bit much? a steal? or about right on target?

First off, are you sure they are "factory" '70 tow hooks? Seen a set of the "genreric" after market hooks at a swap meet with the guy wanting $225 for them. Swore they were factory as they came off his Blazer and were listed on the SIPD. Do a search for "factory tow hooks" and you will find some nice examples. Are the tow hooks in question called out on the SIPD sheet in the glove box? If they are, next make sure the VIN on the truck and on the SIPD match. Many times glove box lids are changed over the years. That being said I have seen them in good to nice condition sell in the low $225 up to $350, again depending on condition. Hope that helps. The hooks pictured in the link belong to " to much stuff ", Eric. I've dealt with him a couple times and he know his stuff. Those hooks are indeed the original factory 69-72 styled hooks. In '72 GM also made what is referred to as " extreme bend " tow hooks. Both angle to the same direction, a bit harder to find and usually bring $100 - $125 more than the standard '69 - '72 hooks. If yours match Eric's picture you do indeed have original hooks. Again, in my opionion, worth from $225 up to $350 in good useable condtion. Good luck with them.
