bolt pattern on a 69 GMC

it's a 69 GMC

6 bolt and that's factory as far as i know

anyone know if there was one certain distance in bolts? as in, was there a specific one when it was released from the factory??

IE:

6-4.5
6-5
6-5.5

?????

then would the best way to tell be to take off my tires and measure, or should the old rims on there be able to tell me
