Unhappy Question To You 60/40 Power Seat People...

The '94-'98 power 60/40 drivers seat has a different mounting bracket than the other ones. Instead of a bent leg front to back and spaced about 15" my power seat has a more solid semi-rigid bracket with the bolt pattern at about 10". When you installed yours did you go ahead and set it to the floor with the front bolts in the existing raised mounting area and bolt the rear one down or did you use a spacer to match the same height as the raised section @ the front for the rear mounting?
Thanx!

I set mine behind the raised area where it sat flat on the floor, and drilled all new holes. your seat will sit lower that way.

Thanx for the reply, John. Are you saying that this seat sits a little higher than the original?

I think it will sit higher than origional mounted on raised area. The one I did was the same as origional seat mounted flat. I think mine was 13" from floor to top of seat cushion,as was origional seat. If you have long legs it makes a difference.

I have long legs so yes it sounds good. Besides, if I want to raise it up I just push the button, right?
Thanx!
