Anyone into wood working or?

Ive seen them guys on weekend TV shows take a router and trim down a wood edge.

surley it owuld be done in plastic?

is there a bit that can take some 3/16 plastic, and turn the edge down to 1/8, only needs to be about 1/2 wide area turned down, rest of it can be 3/16

morons at moms work put lexan in her broken sun roof, but didn't size if for the seal to work.

The problem with plasic is it melts. Yes it can be done but you have to know how to cool it as you do it.

Here is the link to the bit that you would use. Your local hardware should have it. You will need a router however. Lexan should be hard enough that it wouldn't melt. I would try a scrap piece first though.

I would try a rotary saw.They're like a router but usually easier to control.
