Driving/Fog Lites in Diesel Bumper - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Its taken a while but I finally got a GMT 400 diesel front bumper ( at areasonable price ) for my 94 gas powered 4x4 Burb. I also have a set of driving lites that fit in the holes perfectly. If anyone has done this upgrade please post pics and details of your mounting brackets. I have seen a couple of trucks with the driving lites installed and when I pulled on them they shook a bit so I'm guessing they would vibrate while driving which is no good.

You can get the "buckets" which hold the fog lights for a Tahoe. I have a friend who works at the Chevy parts counter and he was able to look up all the parts for me which we then ordered. I've had them at least ten years or more.

I welded a couple brackets in mine just quick tacs and you wont change the color of the chrome

That looks good and simple and inexpensive. Have you used them much cause I'm wondering if they vibrate.

Never wired them up and ended up junking the truck so now the bumper is just sitting around

I finally got around to verifying those part nos.; 15045494 & 15045495. I get a "Not found" @gmpartsdirect.com on those part nos. These numbers are for those fog light "buckets" that attach to the bumper. Maybe they can be found elsewhere.
