Bagged '72 10 Yrs in the Making

Hey guys this is a 1972 truck that I bought when I was 14 in the 8th grade from a local swap meet. My parents said i could spend the money i made however i wanted so i bought this truck and its been a money pit ever since. Been working on it all through high school and college and now that I've graduated its time to finish it. Sorry if some of the pictures are crappy and out of order.

Great looking build! Love the color and how the gray engine looks perfect with it.

And the stance is awesome.

Re: Bagged '72 10 Yrs in the Making

I know its not much progress but this weekend my girlfriend came out to the shop and helped me get the headlights, trim rings, and one wing window rebuilt. Just need to buy new locks for both sides and finish the other wing and I completely assembly my doors.

Are you using the Hill's front tubs? Do you have a picture of your steering hook up?

Re: Bagged '72 10 Yrs in the Making

I am using the hills inner fenders but I have yet to hook the steering up. I was having trouble with my steering column and was throwing around the idea of buying a new one so that is the next thing on my list. Sorry I wasn't much help. love your truck though man

No worries and thanks. I purchased a flaming river 33" and it looks like it will fit without adding extra steering joints.

I might look into buying one of those. I need to also buy a new steering joint because originally I bought a double u joint for the bottom and I really don't need it.
