1971 Jimmy Highlander?

I've avidly read all of the Highlander threads from the archives and haven't seen an answer to this question: was that option offered on Jimmys? I bought my latest 1971 Jimmy because it has many Highlander features but the SPID doesn't make reference to that package.

The truck is loaded - Auto, A/C, tach, tilt wheel, towing package, posi, manual choke, aux. battery, chrome tow hooks (also not mentioned on the SPID). It also has what appears to be Highlander upholstery on the front, but not rear, seats. I've attached a few pics and solicit your opinions.

The truck has some issues to be straightened out but it is in good hands and I'm going to have it put right. It spent most of its life in New Mexico and appears to be an excellent restoration candidate.

I think the highlander was a 72 thing. I think your front seats would match the back seat. More pics? Looks like a well optioned rig.

Very nicely optioned. Not a Highlander though.

Spid calls out - Saddle Bucket Vinyl. That would be a brown colored interior. It appears that the interior has been replaced with the white vinyl (72) and highlander plaid buckets. Dash pad was probably saddle too. The black steering column and wheel would be correct. Kool look though...

Great looking Jimmy! A Jimmy and a GMC motorhome---it don't get no better than that! I always dream of retiring and pulling my Jimmy with one of those to travel all over the country playing tourist.
