Ohio Meet A Sucess!!!!!!!!!!!

Got home around 9pm from Fine 69's, a real great turnout and a super bunch to hang with!!!! Some good rides were there,a few parts and great food. Thanks Mike and Rhonda!!!!!!!!!! Mike's got the list of who was there. Some work was done on the trucks, its good to get to see stuff done firsthand and even a lesson on readin' gas pumps right Jewels? LOL!!!!!! It was super to meet everybody and hope to do it again. The only thing I missed was not havin' my truck ready to go. Hope everyone had a good time like me and again many thanks to Mike and Rhonda for there time on this. Oh yea it was great to meet Andy aka... Longhornmail. They was takin' alot of pics so there should be some good ones. Hope everyone had a safe trip home. Later Weasel.

Well Shadetree. You were here. In thought. Oh yea, and in "diesel" thought. Jewels was real thankful for your help today. You need to make sure you dont put work before play. Work is overrated anyway. You woulda had more fun here.

We all had a great time. Worked on stuff till 3am. More showed up than i thought would. And glad it worked out that way.
It has alreay been asked if we will do the same next year. Plan is already in the works. Keep your calenders open in August.

I don't know about everyone else, but my son and I had a good time. Meeting all the good people in attendence, seeing all the trucks, swapping BS, getting ideas for future work on my 70 GMC, finding out a little about how mine is supposed to go back together.(after 10 years in pieces) Food was good, hospitality was great. I definitely got some pics to post on my website. JEWELS was renamed the DIESEL QUEEN. I'll let her explain. Got some tips and pics on removing body panels, and installing HEI distributors. Got some good pics of some great looking trucks from the Buckeye State. One real nice truck from PA. (72 Longhorn looking good) Indiana, West Virginia, and I believe Kentucky were all represented? Met some who's name I can't remember. Shoulda took a group picture before everyone started leaving. I wimped-out about 4-5 PM. At 50, I'm to young to feel this old. Will post some pics as soon as the ole woman shows me how to download them from the camera. Mike, thanx, and can't wait until next year, or tomorrow, or next month, whenever?

Hey. I just wanted to let everyone know that i truely enjoyed holding this event at my place. Everyone was very gracious and helpful.
My family did tons to help(did most of it)out all my truck drivin' friends.
Here is a list of the board members who showed up,
dmurphy68
Weasel
Longhornjeff69
Buxman66
Dwaite72Longhorn
Jamie72
Huck
6772King
badeblazerbabe
longhornmail
BigBlue72
OhioDan
Pierce
Cheesewagon
jewels(aks DieselQueen

And myself, fine69

I must say i was a little worried about the event. We didnt really have a plan in mind except for avoiding rain. Which we did for most of the day. The weather turned out to be way better than i expected.
And best of all some of the members got stuff fixed on their trucks. That was my goal. We all know how hard it is to get motivated to work on your projects. It does tend to be easier when you have a few buddies around to help, hand you wrenches, and let you know when you are screwing up.

But most of all, I want to say THANK YOU ALL. I really enjoyed myself. And all of you who know me personally know i wouldnt say that if i didnt mean it.
And THANK YOU JOSH BRADY. For creating this board for us and maintaining it.
