Anyone running mmw s10 control arms

Hey guys, I haven't been on here in a while since I had to sell my 72 for financial reasons, but now I'm back with a 54/s10 build. I scored a 87 reg cab long bed for free off craigslist and I pickup up a rust free 54 a couple weeks ago.

Anyways, Im trying to find someone that is running mmw extended control arms instead of running spacers. I'm not against running spacers, but I like the shock relocation with the extended arms. My main question is would you recommend going 2" or 2.5" out on the arms? I'm not sure on wheels right now weather it will be 15" and white walls or some 20"? Taylor said most people have ordered 2.5 spacing, but I have not read anyone using a wheel spacer over 2". I should probably wait to order arms until I figure out wheels and tires, but the 4-8 week wait is what whats killing me. Sorry for the long lost!

Seems to me the 2 inch should mostly compensate for the narrowness of the s10 compared to the 54 but still allow you to run a wider/deeper wheel

Thanks! Seems that 2" is the magic number. I just order the reg s10 s-series arms from mmw. I needed to replace the passenger lower arm due to damage and by the time I bought all new ball joints and control arm bushing it would only be $200 more for the new arms. The biggest decision maker for the reg s-series arms was now that I'll be running a explorer 8.8 with 5x4.5 bolt pattern I'm going to run a front 5x4.75 to 5x4.5 2" spacer and that saves me from the machine work on the rear 8.8 axles and rotors.

Michigan metal works. They make a set of s-10 arms and you determine the added length. whether it be 2" or 2.5" for your wheels and tire set up. This is done to eliminate the use of wheel spacers and relocates the shock in the middle of the arms. I would have went this way, but since I'm using the 8.8, I figured it was easier to use wheel spacers up front to correct bolt pattern from front to rear.

Do you have contact info for MMW? Do they have a web site. Sure would like to have longer A-arms as opposed to wheel spacers.
