Junkyards in NC and SC

So I may be headed down to the Charlotte area of NC and I was wondering if there are any good junkyards down that way?

Pull your own parts would be best as I'd haven't done that in a while and I'd like to try out my (new to me) 3/8" and 1/2" drives.

In particular I am looking for the front passenger side inner fender for our trucks but other parts would be nice too.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Re: Junkyards in NC and SC

I recall a neat junkyard with lots of our trucks in it near Ashboro, NC on Route 49....is that one still there? Does anyone have a number or number to it so I could check on what times they are open?

Re: Junkyards in NC and SC

i have been visiting Vick's Classic Auto Parts 815 Rutherfordton Hwy, Chesnee, SC 29323 (864) 461-9071. He has a lot of 67-72 trucks, but they have been picked over pretty good. I have been twice recently and found everything I went after. Its about an hour out of Charlotte.

The one mentioned in Chesnee is a good one. There is also the one below Greenville SC that has a bunch.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
