Junkyards in NC and SC
So I may be headed down to the Charlotte area of NC and I was wondering if there are any good junkyards down that way?
Pull your own parts would be best as I'd haven't done that in a while and I'd like to try out my (new to me) 3/8" and 1/2" drives. In particular I am looking for the front passenger side inner fender for our trucks but other parts would be nice too. Can anyone point me in the right direction? |

Re: Junkyards in NC and SC
I recall a neat junkyard with lots of our trucks in it near Ashboro, NC on Route 49....is that one still there? Does anyone have a number or number to it so I could check on what times they are open?

Re: Junkyards in NC and SC
i have been visiting Vick's Classic Auto Parts 815 Rutherfordton Hwy, Chesnee, SC 29323 (864) 461-9071. He has a lot of 67-72 trucks, but they have been picked over pretty good. I have been twice recently and found everything I went after. Its about an hour out of Charlotte.

Re: Junkyards in NC and SC
The one mentioned in Chesnee is a good one. There is also the one below Greenville SC that has a bunch.
