72 c10 Project - First Time Builder
I've been a lucky owner of a '72 c10 lwb for little over a year now and I love this truck. I'm a total newbie when it comes to automotive projects and this truck is my first major vehicle project. I've been working on this truck here and there and I am excited to finally post my own thread here after lurking and borrowing ideas from other builds
![]() This truck has been in Prescott, AZ its entire life (original owner even bought from a local dealer) so there's no rust on the rockers nor on the cab floor or anywhere else except by the driver door (which is pretty minimal rust). I have the original sales receipt from the dealer, the tailgate [had] the original dealer sticker, owners manual, original title, and original Protect-O-Plate. Hard to believe the list price for this truck was $2,831! Stay tuned because more pictures will soon follow. ![]() ![]() ![]() This dash has been well-maintained ![]() I believe this is the original SPID. ![]() I've got a lot of cleaning to do! Original engine and tranny. ![]() Original seats. ![]() |

Great looking truck, should be a fun project. You have a Highlander package truck, a 72 only run promotion that includes the unique seat upholstery.
Lots of straight sheet metal and a solid truck! Welcome to the forum, there is a wealth of knowledge, experience, and helpful people here. |
