So who hasn't parked their truck yet?

Looking for the year round guys. Not a daily driver here, but almost every weekend. Had to really try out the 4 wheel dr. We got 10in last nite. You sunny and 75 guys are welcome to chime in too.

Nice pictures man. Love the snow and the lake in the background!

Mine is in the garage right now waiting on my console to get finished so I can install everything inside.

I originally bought mine as a project but it quickly replaced my former DD once i worked out a few electrical problems. We haven't got much snow down here really so no snow pictures to show

Thumbs up Re: So who hasn't parked their truck yet?

I could have it abled in a few hrs. I've been fixing small stuff. My friend in the local truck club is doing it so I'm not rushing him. He sent me a picture of it today! He has it primered! It was in pretty bad shap but I told him to do what he could with it. It looks wonderful compared to what it did before Christmas.

Re: So who hasn't parked their truck yet?

I look forward to the day I finish this project, hopefully I will have finally made the move up to the Bison farm. I have promised my self that I will be using the truck year round / all the time and not a garage queen. But I know she will be grounded to the farm only during salt season and street driven only after heavy new snows, before the salt trucks go down them. I started this one approximately 8 years ago with parts all bought here on this awesome site. PS. I really dig your truck, thanks for the steering stabilizer, I know yours isn't seeing salt. ;~)) John

Re: So who hasn't parked their truck yet?

Mine stays parked most of the time but I did take it out for a short drive today, usually drive it around a little every week or so just to keep it going. I bought it to eventually restore but I haven't started yet, I knew when I bought it I would need to wait a while before doing much work on it. I have twins (boy/girl) in college so most of my funds are spoken for at the moment but if all goes well they will be finished by this time next year.

Weird. I cut 'n' pasted this from my Photobucket, went back and I must have been on a different page. I went back page by page to the first, then back up past where I know I was and can't find the pictures I had. Oh well, forget it. I'm too tired to let this frustrate me. I have more...somewhere

Just a dusting this morning, but the new driver in the house wanted the Jeep. The C20 went out rather than the Buick.

I drive mine when I can but it seems to be not very often. This was the last time I went out with it a week ago. 2nd pic is from this past summer.

Nice trucks, but shouldn't they be in the garage under a blanky?

I found another one in my gallery from the same snow, and here's my GMC:

Re: So who hasn't parked their truck yet?

I put more time in my truck in the winter - but put way less miles on it compared to the summer months.
It is my primary driveway clearing tool. It is also my primary ice fishing vehicle. Both jobs keep the the truck away from the salted roads.

I probably drive my 72 more than most, but generally doesn't leave the drive way when there's snow and ice.

However, it was 4 degrees this morning and my Explorer was having an electrical issue so I drove me truck to work. What does that tell ya?
