Question on 86 C10 Grill

I have a 86 C10 Custom Deluxe and the grill has a bow tie molded into the center horizontal bar with a gold colored center (not bolted on). A neighbor saw the truck and said he thought he had a NOS grill for it. It looks the same, has the same part number on the back, but has a bolt on bowtie emblem that fits over the molded bow tie. I was just wondering what the difference was. I bought it because mine had a couple of breaks in it. Thanks for the info.

Re: Question on 86 C10 Grill

I think the difference is in custom deluxe trim level and Silverado trim level and such. Idk the break-up but I had one like your neighbors. Fit fine.
