bbc lwp mid-mount alt clearance
does anyone know if a stock big block fan shroud will work in a 67-72 with a big block, long water pump, AND mid mount alternator? i've been digging around on the forum, and it sounds like the lwp will work ok with the stock shroud, just not sure if the shroud will interfere with the alternator setup as shown below (alan grove for example)...
or if someone has a picture looking from the top straight down on any stock bbc shroud with lwp that would be helpful! 225R alt lwp 407L ps lwp

Re: bbc lwp mid-mount alt clearance
Yes it does work, there is no interference. Sorry I don't have a picture.
I had a March Performance mid mount alternator kit in the long water pump configuration. It uses the 2 wider serpentine belts and I also used the mechanical fan with the shroud. The low mount power steering belt and pulley are behind the alternator belt so there is no issue there either. Another member on the board here purchased it. Maybe he has a pic. Good luck
