2 wd convert to 4wd

how much work is involved in doing this? I want to turn our suburban into a 4wd.

Buy yourself a K10 or K20 pickup long bed (127 inch wheel base) and put your Suburban body on top of it. You will have to change the body mounts that rivet to the frame that are Suburban specific, (I think the 3 rear ones) and use the rear frame horns from your original Suburban frame for the bumper to mount.

You are going to be much better off buying a complete truck that is already a 4x4 than buying all of the pieces needed separately.

The 2WD and 4WD frames are different. That's what makes it tough.

I went from 4*4 to 2wd its. A long hassle labor of love you better really love this suburban buy a 4wd I have a extra 4wd want to trade

E mail me at steveedwards1995@gmail where are you located. Cause that might be kinda a issue. I have a complete. 68 Chevy suburban stick 1/2 ton 4*4 needs to be gone threw and played with starts right up needs a lot of. Love but is 4*4
