Talking My 71 behind water!

We spent the weekend up in the SC, NC, Ga and Tenn mountains. Drove home today down Hwy 28 and stopped right before we got to Cashiers NC for a couple of pictures and video.
Truck did great. Not one issue and we drove 385 miles and haven't stopped for gas yet!

This was at the Muscle car museum in Piegon Forge Tenn.

Very nice museum if you ever get in the area. Has a lot of nice cars on display.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Andy, that is so cool! Your truck looks great behind the water fall. Thanks for posting that! Very cool.

Thanks guy's. There have been several moves in that area over the years. We spent the whole weekend driving in the mts but never made it to the dragon tail. I have more video's as soon as they load up I post some of us on the road.

Re: My 71 behind water!

I could go 385 miles on a single tank if there were a tanker truck running along side of me with the hose attached:-)

Just random shots of the weekend.
I put 385 miles on the truck, just about 90% of them where in 3rd gear no overdrive 4:10 gears and AC on and got 14.9 MPG. Not bad. I filled up last night when I got home. Just a little over a half tank of gas.

Re: My 71 behind water!

Notice that you have the billet grill. How are you opening the hood? I have the same grill that I want to install but am wondering is there are options other than the supplied "T-bar" that you reach under the bumper to access or a in-cab hood release.

Wink Re: My 71 behind water!

My hand is small enough to reach the factory release. No mods to it at all.
