LMC Windshield Gasket??

Has anyone used LMC's windshield gasket before? It was the cheapest one I found and I'm beginning to notice everyone swears by Precision's gasket. I get cheap stuff when I can, but if it's a crappy gasket that will leak and cause problems I'm willing to fork out the extra dough for a better one.

Re: LMC Windshield Gasket??

No way I'd by a windshield seal from LMC, but that's just me.

I don't know what you paid for it but I got my Precision from Classic Parts for about $25 (10% off entire order right now). But normal price is $28. BUT!!! When you order specify that you want a Precision seal. They get them from several vendors so you have to note it on your online order or tell the person if you're calling it in.

Type SPRING10 in the promo code field. You can always get 5% off by using promo code STOVEBOLT as well.

Hmm...I paid $28 for it and with shipping it came out to $38 or something like that. If I got one from Classic Parts it would come out to $33 with shipping and the 10% discount. That $5 difference would probably go into a flat rate USPS box to return the LMC seal. I'm not totally convinced it's worth the hassle to get a Precision seal yet. Good to know about the discount codes though, thanks a bunch!

Thanks guys, I'm going to stick with the LMC gasket. I'll let you all know how it goes!
