With all the motor swap going on i found that I have two different mirror's.
With all the wisdom on this board, can you tell me which brand these are ...oem chevy or after market.

Thanks Barry

Re: Mirror - Mirror

The one on the left is original West Coast Mirror from GM. Not sure about the one on the right.

Re: Mirror - Mirror

Looks like something is stamped into the mirror head on the right, but I can't make out what it says.

Re: Mirror - Mirror

A couple years ago I bought a theft recovered C6500 flat/tilt bed with a big cat in it it had mirrors similar to those on my 68 and 71 trucks that say West Coast mirror and I found a replacement mirror head at the local parts store, that looks like the one on the right while the one on the left looks to be factory. you must be getting close to putting it on the road if your looking at mirrors or like me on my one ton so busy your just looking for some small thing to do. Re: Mirror - Mirror

Looks like just the mirror head was replaced on the right one. The bulged back is factory for sure.

Re: Mirror - Mirror

So they're still in business, excellent. Give 'em a call, maybe they can tell you if that mirror head is aftermarket or OEM, and if it's OEM, what it originally came on. Toll free number 800-334-9610.

Re: Mirror - Mirror

Definitely a replacement part. What you need to do is find the other original. Or, that's what I would do. You can find all sorts or replacements in stainless or painted all day long. I like the look of the originals, and it's just plain right
