Stepside bullseye reverse lights

These were removed from my 69 GMC K2500 bout 20 yrs ago.
Never noticed back then, until digging them up now, did these come on 67-70 trucks?. They have a '66 production date, and was thinking since '66 was an option year for back up lights that it carried through till 1970, until the waffle style in '71?

Re: Stepside bullseye reverse lights

i don't know of any waffle style Stepside reverse lenses. There were what I would call ribbed (smooth on outside) that had lines all running horizontal. The 66 means that was the first year for that lens

Re: Stepside bullseye reverse lights

So another question, were reverse lights standard equipment as in fleetsides or an option on step sides in 67?

I just called them waffle because of the terms that float around the forum. Here's a pic of repros on my '67, that's what I'm used to seeing since OE's are usually all chalked out.
