engine bracket help

I'm trying to figure out what this bracket is for. I'm rebuilding a 72 c20 and I bagged and labeled each part as I removed it a few months ago. This bracket was with my A/C parts but I do not believe it goes to that. Any ideas as to what it is for?

Re: engine bracket help

It's one of the power steering brackets. The two holes that are stacked, bolt next to the water pump.

I guess that explains why my PS pump pulley doesn't quite line up with the crank pulleys. Thanks for the info!
