Newbie needing some advice on my long awaiting build

Hi everybody this is my first post and hope to get guided in the right direction. I've been waiting for years to start the rebuild of my 1972 cheyenne lwb given to me by my father when I was 16. Its been sitting since 2005 and now that I have enough income coming in, its time to give it some lovin! I want to start from the bottom up. Suspension, brakes, frame etc. I have already purchased a katech ls3 crate motor, and now Im looking into suspension. I want to go for a pro touring stance as shown in the link below.

Ive been looking into CPP and Porterbuilt in combination with pb frame stiffener. To me it would be more affordable than Hotchkis suspension since Im not planning on doing any road racing. If I can get any advice I would really appreciate it! Thanks

get it running a let it put a few smiles on your face before you rip it into a million parts and it may or may not ever get put back together.

Look into No Limit wide ride IFS and Rear 4-link setup as well.
