Re: 1968 Something a little different

Yeah, but the Hippies didn't drive brand new American pickups. Hard working straight people drove trucks like that.
Most Hippies didn't own a vehicle at all. Why should they, when they could stick out their thumb and hitch a ride on somebody elses car? If anything, the VW Bug and Microbus were preferred.

The truck is worth the money if it weren't for the paint job. His interested buying group of people is going to be rather small with that paint job. someone will buy it, sand it and shoot it with the color of their choice. nice truck..

Re: 1968 Something a little different

A man could scuff and shoot a paint job on there for not a huge amount. Power steering, brakes and air? Pretty good it just needs a reshoot. Jim

Re: 1968 Something a little different

Nice truck, unfortunate paintjob...

Why do people do weird modifications to these classic trucks?, do they expect that someone else to love it and buy it???

A painter will probably buy it and repaint it!

^^^I agree^^^
That someone is going to have to believe that the truck is going to be worth the cost of that new paint job to get that stuff off there. I can't quit seeing it.

Re: 1968 Something a little different

It is a nice truck and all it would need to be great in my eyes is a reshoot of the paint.

At least they didn't shave the door handles, fuel filler, drip rails, firewall, one piece windows, flush glass, raised bed floor, body drop, or hack up the frame
