LS Motor Mounts

Fixing to do a 6.0 swap in a 68 C10 and have been looking at different motor mount options but really can't decide. Which mounts require no welding and also keeps you from having to notch the frame? I will also be putting in the 4l80e transmission and using as much A/C components from the donor truck as possible, so trying to decide which motor mount will work out the best for my needs. Needing advice.. Thanks.

I used the CPP mount perches and Holley swap motor mount plates. The CPP perches didnt match my bolt holes, but all it took was drilling a few holes. I was able to use the stock transmission x member just by moving it back a bit. You'll need to shorten your driveshaft.

No welding or notching required.

For the accessories, it depends on what year the donor was from. Mine was an LS1 fbody and everything cleared by the compressor (a notch would have been required). I plan on going with one of the aftermarket top mount AC brackets when I add AC back to the truck. These guys have what you need http://www.dirtydingo.com/shop/index.php
