Looking for ideas of cleaning up the wires coming from a AAW fuse block under the hood. Would like to see what you have done. Maybe a boot of some type? Your ideas please.

Something like a boot to make the wires coming from the plugs look better.

I used some expandable sleeve from Mcmaster carr comes in many sizes and colors heat resistant etc. Ends do fray, can be melted to seal them, but also needs to be folded back on itself or maybe someone has an idea for an end cap. Or wrap.....http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-ca...eving/=11s9t9k

Could see if you could modify a plastic box to cover the plug. Might have to drill holes in the truck for the box to hold onto the firewall then do the wire braid sleeves.

You could ask Adam "BossHogg69" he posted a pic in one of my threads (another hydro boost vs power disc thread) that shows his engine bay. Looks like he fabbed something to hide it pretty well. Looks really good!

I unplugged mine and removed it from the truck. I removed the black tape from around the wire and I coiled it up and smeared go jo hand cleaner and let it soak in a 12 inch by 12 inch zip lok bag for a few days then pulled it out and wiped it down untill it was clean.

I then put it into another zip lok bage and pumped a few, alot of squirts of armor all in and soaked it good and let it sett for a few days. pilled it out wipped off the armor all and re rapped it with electrical tape.

looked brand new

some of the electrical connections needed additional clean up attention.

Mine is already brand new, AAW. Just not wanting the colored part of the wires to show where they come out of the plugs.

You might look for a late model truck or passenger car air filter box, one that snaps closed so you could contain everything out of sight....just a thought

Please be careful with spiral wrap, especially in situations where electric wiring, air, hydraulic tubing is present and there are formed bends to the wire bundle, tubing. The edges of the spiral wrap can carry a formed load to them and may slowly cut into wiring, tubing. Just sharing from past experience.

Are we talking about the same product, the one I referred to is braided, and slit, so you can put wires inside and it closes tightly around the harness
