Mustang 2 crossmember

Hello. Has anyone ever tried to install a mustang 2 crossmember on a 67-72 Chevy truck? Every ifs that I have looked @ cost about $4000.00. No one seems to make a crossmember that you can use with the rest of your stock parts until your budget allows you to upgrade. If any vendor is listening, I want a 10% commission. I'm Mainly referring to the kind speedway sells. And is something like that is possible how was it done. Thanks in advance fellow board members.

Re: Mustang 2 crossmember

why would one remove an IFS to install different IFS that brings no real benefit to the chassis?

Re: Mustang 2 crossmember

Knowing Clark I would guess to get lower and have rack and pinion for less cost than the usual aftermarket set ups.

Here is a thread that is related. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=562157

Seems like it would be less fab work to section a crossmember and buy the No Limit Rack.
