Re: Brother's show today

Did they send out any advertising for this year's event? I've spent over $3,000 there in the past year and didn't get as much as a post card? Anyone else know or have I been in a hole for the past few months?

Re: Brother's show today

Lots of big wheels. Guess if you want to stand out at a show these days you need stock ride height and factory wheels, just to be "different"!

Tons of craftsmanship though no matter where you stand on the style aspect.

I think I did get something. But it was hard searching online for details. The show was chevy truck overload. There must have been 500 trucks there. First time experiencing a truck show like that. Cool to see all the trucks you see in magazines and YouTube videos, Delmos, c10club, c10 talk, square body club etc.

This was pretty sick. Photo not reversed right hand drive.

Re: Brother's show today

Just curious, were there a lot of stock trucks there too? Or maybe slightly lowered with a stock look? Im guessing by your pics that's not your style, and more power to you if that's what you like, I just prefer a more stock look myself. I guess I'm old school.

I'm sorry I am a little bias for a little bit of custom. There was a lot of heavy customs. I prefer resto custom but since you ask that come to think of it I didn't see hardly any just clean stock trucks.

Yes, there were some. That's what I like too ... Here's my humble offering --

Well...I guess the theme now is ls'd and dropped on the ground , I see a lot of nice craftsmanship just not my personal style . But that's what this hobby is all about personal expression . Nice trucks .

I think the photographer might have been biased toward LS'd and dropped. I saw some other trucks in the background that didn't get their own individual shot.

Not really into trucks that can no longer be used as trucks. I dont mind custom but prefer function over form.

I guess I finally hit full geezer mode now that I complain about shiny rims and cut frames.

You can go to the Brothers truck site in a few days and pictures of every truck will be on there. https://www.brotherstrucks.com They take a picture of everyone as they drive in. There is always a lot of stock trucks there in various stages of restoration but it does seem like the low riders have taken over the hobby.

Re: Brother's show today

Guess next time I'll consider the stock crowd . I'm no photographer, was just a guy with an android phone enjoying a truck show. Although I took a lot of ls dropped trucks I'm not looking to necessary go that route for my own truck. I just appreciate the work and skill that went into them. It is an art form. I photo'd a lot of the resto custom which I'm into but you can grab some little ideas from everyone.

Nice Pics! I wonder if anyone knows where we be able to find the videos of that drone flying around . That would be cool to see. It was unreal how many beautiful trucks were out there.

Was the C-10 Club there. They usually roll in with a bunch of rides and have a big party. They don't participate on this board as much as they used to. I just check their page and there are no photos from the show?

Yes they were there in full force. I took photos of a few of their lowered blazers.

Re: Brother's show today

That's why the 67 was in parenthesis

Chances are it wasn't a real 2wd either, too rare and valuable to swap noses on, but I guess people do do that...

The Blazers with those nose jobs did justice to them real nicely though.
