91' 4l80e/205 setup with parts

So i've had a few PM's about this setup i listed per wanting too trade for parts but i'm just gonna list it up separately for sale.

1991 V3500 4L80e & NP205 vss parts and conversion

I have the following parts for sale removed from a 1991 V3500 crew cab 4x4 with 103,xxx miles. As you know, 1991 was the ONLY year you could get the desireable 4l80e overdrive transmission with the cast iron NP205. This combo is very desirable and sought after for conversions in any older 4x4. Included is almost everything to do a complete conversion to a crew cab 4x4. PO had trans rebuilt (stock, nothing fancy). This is all i have left of the truck.

- 4l80e 4x4 transmission rebuilt (stock rebuild)
- New torque converter
- Original dust cover and dipstick
- NP205 VSS (electronic speedometer) round pattern transfer case (not rebuilt)
- Original 4l80/205 shifter and knob with linkage
- Original t-case boot/retainer ring for inside cab floor
- Original crossmember with mount
- Original 4l80 trans linkage and frame brackets
- All 3 driveshafts ( 2 pc rear, 1 front 4x4 )
- Original 4l80 transmission lines

And lastly the very rare 4l80 to np205 factory adapter!

Might be able to help with shipping as i travel a bunch and have a friend that transports cars/trucks for living. I also have a Fastenal local that i used to get it all too me.

Please serious inquires only. This is my 4th and final setup. I've parted them out on Evilbay and made more than I'm asking, just don't want too deal with the fee's and such. Would rather see a board member use it if possible.

$1900.00 For Sale Locally also. NO PAYPAL. I'll accept a cashiers check or cash SOLD SOLD SOLD

Oh i already know i'll kick myself in the rear as soon as i find another crew! My 76 K20 crew is original so i decided to keep it that way. But ya, I'll probably be posting a WTB ad looking for one someday! lol. Oh well!

Re: 91' 4l80e/205 setup with parts

345HP..... I'll take 1500.00 for everything but the 205. That would be the only way i'd split it up. The adapter needs too stay with the trans and everything else. I would't mind keeping the case for a spare project down the road

Would a stand alone controller be needed for the 4L80E?

Do you have the brace from the transfer case to the transmission and the 2 that go to the motor mount brackets?

Re: 91' 4l80e/205 setup with parts

No, If it came with any other braces or such they were already gone. Everything I have is listed above. Thx

What brace would go between the trans and tcase? Thats a short distance and the adapter would be sufficient. I've never seen such a thing on any of the 4 setups i've had.

I think he's talking about the round rod that bolts to the pass side of transfer case and the other end bolts to the bell housing and engine using one of the bell housing bolts

I do have it. I decided to pass on trading it to a local guy. I just decided i'd rather have the money go to a project than acquire more projects. lol

You can PM me for a number if your interested.

Re: 91' 4l80e/205 setup with parts

I think it would be standard crew cab 164.5". Are u curious for rear drive shaft lengths? Shortening a shaft is waaaaay cheaper than building a new one. Been there done that!

Re: 91' 4l80e/205 setup with parts

Ya ive used them several times on transmissions, seats, larger parts and its way cheaper than any other freight. I have a fresh pallet in my shop it's all actually sitting on so it would be no problem to ship.
