Truck used in my daughters wedding

My second daughter got married this weekend, we used my 72 to bring her to her walk down the isle. Almost didn't happen because when I went to start my truck to go pick her up I turned the key and nothing happened! It has never failed to turn over, only on its most important day did it not work! I had people frantically crawling under the truck checking every wire, trying to start it off the solenoid, finally after a few taps on the starter it roared to life. I was a wreck as she really wanted to pull up to the wedding in the truck (it will be hers one day)
Everything turned out beautiful. It rained later in the day, her dress got a little muddy at the bottom but it was a great day!

Thanks! It was an awesome day!
They have been a couple since they were 10 years old, both 30 now. I have no doubt they'll last a lifetime.

Nothing cooler than a wedding with Harley's and Chevy trucks! It was great, after they were wed a group of their biker friends, a club called BACA (bikers against child abuse) got on their bikes and revved them loudly! It was truly cool.

Re: Truck used in my daughters wedding

Congrats! I attended a wedding this past weekend where the groom used his grandfathers '65 shortbed for the getaway vehicle.
